Why Apricot?
While in Antwerp, Belgium training under one of Europe's renowned master diamond setters, I stumbled on a market one evening where a display of apricots caught my eye. These were special — I had not seen anything like them for as long as I could remember. Unlike the typical supermarket fare (suspiciously large, pale and bland), these were petite — a mere inch in diameter — but magnificent: beautiful, fragrant, vibrantly colored and perfectly ripe.
This sweet, simple discovery brought me memorable delight and left an impression that symbolizes everything Apricot Fine Jewelry Works aspires to be:

John de Rosier, founder of Apricot Fine Jewelry Works, is a European-trained diamond setter and a goldsmith with classical and contemporary training and years of experience at the bench where he has repaired, restored and made countless pieces of jewelry. Equally comfortable with a designer’s pencil, a jeweler’s torch or a diamond setter’s gravers and microscope, John is a creator and craftsman who committed to beauty, form and function in all his work.
